Happy New Year!

Bringing in the New Year with my babies!

My partial list for 2012

1.     Learn to be TWO steps ahead of everything. One is not enough.

2. Find an outlet for frustration and stress.
In 2011, I let it get the best of me and that will never happen again.

3.     Get Christmas shopping out of the way by
Thanksgiving because we are spending Christmas at home
and enjoying the whole holiday season in peace and happiness.

4.     We are currently deciding between remodeling our lower
levels, bathrooms, and all flooring or buying a new home.

5.     I want a better job. My agency has been good to me.
It has been a great 2-year break from drama. I need to get back to security.

6.     Further my education in the medical field.
I am thinking nursing at this moment. I have to find a
program that will allow me to work while going to school.

7.     Learn how to crochet lace.

8.     Finish my quilt that I started some time ago.

9.     I have carried some extra weight for some time now. I want to get rid of it for good.

10. Teach Kiara to ride her bike without training wheels.

11.  Get a full body massage, I am too embarrassed, I shouldn't be.

12. Finish my daughter’s Princess room. . .Almost done.

13. Because of last minute end of year tasks I did not finish our
Calender on time, this year it will be done by November as well.

Out with the old. . . .

I have been a bad blogger!
I either have too much to say or not enough. Go figure.
I had a great 2011.
My son became a Catholic!!
I finally did my internship to complete my Bachelor's Degree.
Read tons of books.
Ranging from Janet Evanovich to Laurell K. Hamilton to Katie MacAlister
*My three favorite authors of the year!
Tried Sushi for the first time and am actually hooked!
Made Chinese food for the first time and it was Fabulous!
I joined Pinterest and fell in love with Ancestry.com.
Jerome loved Rugby and Football.
He got MVP for Rugby this year.
Kiara was in dance class and discovered her voice.
Beautiful dancer and enthusiasm for the performing arts??
♥♥♥Fingers crossed♥♥♥
(She didn't know I took voice lessons throughout college
and was in choir throughout my education.)
Our household converted to Mac: iMac, Mac Pro, iPads, iPods, and iPhones!
Jeremy signed up for the Adult Catechumenate classes at our church!
We met some great friends that we have lots in common with and actually hang out and have an awesome time. Friends that remind me of home.
The only bad thing that I can admit to was the stress and anxiety got to me in more ways than one. Between school, kids, a crazy family (not my home family) on both sides, two faced friends, stressful jobs, and everyday issues; I turned into a semi-bitter version of myself. I shook that one off quick. All it took was a trip home to realize that that was not the person I wanted to be.
